Joe Biden has finally thrown his support behind Democratic efforts to change Senate rules in order to ram through their "election reform" bill without the support of Republicans ahead of the midterm elections. "I'm making it clear today. To protect our democracy, I support changing the Senate rules in whatever way is necessary to prevent a minority of senators from blocking voting rights action!" On Tuesday, Biden told a small crowd in Atlanta. "We have no choice but to change the Senate rules...

For no apparent reason, America First broadcaster Nick Fuentes has been banned from GETTR, the platform run by former Trump advisor Jason Miller. At the end of last month, Fuentes, the host of the popular nightly show "America First," was first barred from GETTR, an ostensibly free speech alternative to Twitter. Earlier this week, The Blaze's Elijah Schaffer contacted GETTR, who Schaffer claims told him Fuentes had broken their terms of service, but did not specify which posts constituted the ...

As previously reported in November, Adams has always been in favor of the move. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is scheduled to step down at the conclusion of this Congress, and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries is the new favorite to succeed her.

The fight on who would replace Pelosi, Calif., might reveal the wide gap between progressives and moderates.

As the party prepares for possible midterm losses, future leaders may disagree on how to oppose the GOP.

While Pelosi commands the admiration of her followers, many Democrats want to move past the elderly leadership of Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Md., and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, S.C.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal called for'more decentralized leadership.'

the Democratic caucus must be brought in and brought together,' said Jayapal, Wash.
'Decentralized leadership requires some acceptance.'

'I want to make sure it's someone who can rally the troops. We are stronger together, argues Pelosi. I want someone who can hold that oneness.'

Another Democrat agreed with Schneider on Pelosi's leadership.

'She knows how to get things done and keep us together, even if it seems a little untidy on the outside.' Some worry that without her, we'll end up like the Republicans under [Ohio's John] Boehner and [Wisconsin's Paul] Ryan, with no one to hold them together.'

Delegated by the House Democratic Caucus since 2003, Pelosi became speaker in 2007.
When Democrats retook the House in 2019, she became speaker again after serving as minority leader from 2011 to 2019.

The Post stated that members 'overwhelmingly agreed' that Pelosi's replacement should be 'equally historic'.

If we are playing 'what if there is ever a shift,' I believe it is extremely essential and would not hesitate to say that if I had a crystal ball, I would want the leadership to represent our amazing democracy in America,' said Ohio Rep. Joyce Beatty, chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus.

'I would want to be able to claim I helped elect the first Black American Speaker of the US Congress.'

A speaker-elect Jeffries could tick that box.

'He's clever, slick, and courageous,' remarked a fan of Jeffries.
'I mean, if we're fighting for anything, I want Hakeem Jeffries on my side.'

Jeffries is a Progressive Caucus member who is favorable to business and protects moderates in swing areas, according to the Post.

Pelosi committed in 2018 to serve for four more years.

After months of evading reporters' inquiries about whether she'd keep her vow, she told reporters in November 2020: 'There was a drive to restrict the leadership and committee chairmen.'

'I don't want to undercut whatever power I may have, but I made the comment.'
